Natives in STEMWe have partnered with the Native American Student Assembly at USC and scientist from NASA JPL to host Natives in STEM event. The invited guest speakers were Aaron Yazzie (Mechanical Engineer) and Lauren Denson (Technical Group Supervisor & Quality Assurance Engineer). Each speaker presented their background, education, career journey, and current roles.

Latines in STEMWe have partnered with the Spanish Undergraduate Student Association at USC and scientist from USC and NASA JPL to host the Latines in STEM event. The invited guest speakers were Fabiola Cardoso (Postdoctoral Researcher), Jorge Vazquez (Research Scientist), and David A. Henriquez (Mars Helicopter Avionics Delivery Manager). Each speaker presented their background, education, career journey, and current roles.

The Summer Experience in Renewable and Green Energy is an initiative led by the SACNAS team at USC. It has provided a unique science experience to students from different middle-schools in Los Angeles. During four days students learn about the different types of renewable energy with hand-on experiments, scavenger hunts and a guided tour to Los Angeles History Museum.
